ECE Servo Insert coupling

The Servo-Insert Couplings of the series ECOLOC ECE are used wherever vibration damping is required. By an optimization of the spider an increased shaft misalignment compensation is achieved. The power transmission happens through a positive-locking keyway connection.

Eco System

Versatile belt driven linear motion units

The ECO SYSTEM units are linear actuators made of a self-sustaining extruded aluminum frame and are driven by a polyurethane belt with AT metric profile steel inserts.

  • Reduced weight ensured by the light frame and the aluminum sliders

The ECO SYSTEM series actuators are offered with two motion systems:

ECO SYSTEM – SP
Featuring a maintenance free recirculating linear guide rail fitted inside the profile.

ECO SYSTEM – CI
Featuring four rollers with a Gothic arch outer profile sliding on hardened steel bars placed inside the profile.

friction drive belt / pulley

Plain metal belts are created by welding together two ends of a metal tape to form an endless belt.High-energy beam-welding techniques, pioneered in the space program, form a high-integrity butt weld that is extremely strong and smooth.Friction drive pulleys are generally flat-faced with no timing element. Crowning pulley faces is not generally recommended. A full radius crown is less stressful on the belt, but is more difficult to machine and, therefore, more costly. The trapezoidal crown is more cost effective, but it should be avoided in applications having high belt tensile loads due to stress risers at the crown’s transition points between angled flats. Blending these points can be helpful but does not eliminate the high-stress risers.

gas compression springs

Gas pressure springs are used to balance weight and thus work against the weight force of a cover. When a cover is opened, the manual force is thus supported by the gas spring. A gas strut is an enclosed, maintenance-free element. It consists of a pressure tube and a piston rod with piston. In addition, a seal to prevent possible loss of gas is fitted at the piston rod guide. The gas spring is filled with compressed gas – nitrogen – which provides the spring force.

GFX 1-Trak Lite System Composition

GFX 1-Trak Lite is a spacer slide version of Hepco’s 1-Trak guidance system,  including  a  patented  curved  track  form,  providing  the  optimum mover path for 180° motor modules. The track system is  mounted  on  an  aluminium  baseplate  along  with  a  set of motor support brackets, or can be supplied as  a  kit  of  parts  for  custom  installation.  Its  length  is  only  limited  by  the  number  of  motors  and  movers  supported  by  a  Beckhoff  control  system.  Please  see  page  7  for  information  on  these limitations
