Category : FB Series Linear Stages

The FB150 family of stages is a 150mm wide slide assembly, utilizing Nanomotion’s HR8 motor. Standard travels of 150mm, and 200mm are available with the ability to combine axes for XY or XYZ assemblies. All FB series stages come standard with a 100nm resolution optical position sensor and limits or an optional 10nm resolution optical position sensor.

The FB Series product line is a family of standard, modular linear stages available for single and multi-axis applications. The stage configuration utilizes crossed roller bearings, a linear optical encoder, and our piezo ceramic motors. The stages are offered in a wide range of widths and travel lengths and can be combined in X/Y or X/Y/Z or other multi-axis configurations. Encoder resolutions can be varied to achieve a range of performance criteria and there are different size motors for each cross-section to meet necessary force/acceleration requirements.

The FGS family of goniometer stages provides angular tip and/or tilt motion about a pivot point above the stage. The two models are easily combined into a tip/tilt assembly with motion about a common pivot point. Each FG stages utilizes and HR4 motor and precision crossed roller bearings with an optical position sensor. Stages can be used independently or in pairs, along with combining to other linear or rotary stages

Category : FR Series Rotary Stages

The FR060 stage is a precision rotary stage providing continuous rotation utilizing (2) HR2 motors. The stage has a precision crossed roller rotary bearing and high resolution optical position sensor. The mounting output is 60mm diameter ring, with an 8mm diameter through hole.

The FR series of rotary stage provides the most compact footprint for precision rotary motion utilizing our piezo ceramic motors, a crossed roller bearing and a non-contact high resolution rotary encoder. A variety of encoder resolutions and motor configurations allows the FRS060 to be configured for different speed, force and positioning requirements down to 1µrad. FRS060 Rotary Stages are available in standard, vacuum and UHV configurations.

Category : FZ Series Vertical Stages

The FZ080 stage is a precision vertical travel stage based on driving a horizontal wedge. The 80mm square stage utilizes precision crossed rollers for guiding the linear travel, resulting in 10mm travel in the vertical direction. The wedge configuration provides work surface access from any direction, with a precision optical position sensor encoding the directly on the vertical displacement.

LinMot motors are electromagnetic direct drives in tubular form. The linear motion is produced purely electrically and wear-free, without any intermediate coupling of mechanical gearboxes, spindles, or belts. The linear motor consists of just two parts: the slider and the stator. The slider is made of neodymium magnets that are mounted in a high-precision stainless steel tube. The stator contains the motor windings, bearings for the slider, position capture sensors, and a microprocessor circuit for monitoring the motor.
